The Nokia 5230 cell phone will request the Nokia 5230 security code, which is 12345 by default. Please be aware that you will loose all the data in your Nokia 5230 cell phone, a backup of all relevant information is recommended.


Soft Reset:


If you want to soft reset your Nokia 5230  you need to dial *#7780# and then call. The default security code is 12345.  Once you complete this, your Nokia 5230 cell phone will come back to factory settings (reset), but you will not loose personal data. In all cases it is recommended to make a backup of your Nokia 5230 before performing any of the Nokia 5230 master reset or Nokia 5230 hard reset procedures above.
